Ethics and Follow-Up Committees

The Minister of Education, Culture, and Science (OCW) and the Secretary of State for Health, Welfare, and Sport (VWS) have decided to establish two committees to follow up on the recommendations from the Schaduwdansen study (May 2023) on misconduct in the dance sector. These are the Ethics Committee for Dance and the Follow-Up Committee for Dance.

Ethics Committee

The Ethics Committee advises the alliance and the ministries on ethics and integrity concerning the implementation of the recommendations from the study. They also hold discussions with the potential members of the Follow-Up Committee, the expert groups, and the steering group of the Dans Veilig Alliance on the topic of ethics and integrity. After these discussions, the members will be appointed.
