Dans Veilig works towards a safe dance environment where everyone can develop and enjoy dance. We offer advice and support to dance schools, dancers, and dance professionals to ensure social safety. We do this by:
- Raising awareness and recognizing transgressive behavior that has occurred within the dance sector.
- Engaging in open dialogue with stakeholders in the dance sector to foster connections between organizations and various parts of the sector.
- Sharing knowledge from all these organizations and working together on solutions that contribute to social safety.
- Supporting organizations in adapting and integrating solutions so that they align with their specific situation.
- Evaluating progress on social safety within the dance sector, recognizing that this is an ongoing process that will never be fully completed.
