As an organization, it is important that you regularly train your dance teachers and keep their knowledge up-to-date. Look for course offerings in the current training offerings and calendar on the Dans Veilig website, at Platform Ondernemende Sportaanbieders (POS), your trade association or union.   

• Featured: Dansbelang offers in its part-time course “Declaration of Competence” a module Social Safety in the Dance Class. This module can also be taken separately.  

• Within the dance sport there are a number of organizations (KNVD, NDO, NADB, Dutch Dance Sports, Dutch Gymnastics – KNGU) that represent the interests of dance teachers and dance instructors. They promote dance education and support the professional development of dance teachers through meetings, conferences, courses and publications. Check their websites for current offerings.
