Everyone deserves to dance with joy — in an environment that feels socially safe and respectful.
That’s why Dans Veilig, together with partners from the sports sector – including POS (Platform for Entrepreneurial Sports Providers) – is launching a campaign this fall to help dance schools strengthen social safety and raise awareness within their communities.
The main focus of this campaign is to encourage dance schools to apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
By requesting a VOG for their staff, schools demonstrate that they take safety and professionalism seriously. It helps build trust among students, parents, and colleagues alike.
Apply for a Support Budget for Your Dance School
From Monday, November 10 to Friday, November 14, entrepreneurial sports providers – including dance schools – can apply for a support budget of €449 via the Clubbase website. This amount can be used to strengthen your organization in the areas of social safety, inclusion, and professional development.
A practical and valuable way to use this budget is by requesting VOGs for your staff. Do your teachers, assistants, or supervisors work with minors or other vulnerable individuals? Then a VOG is highly recommended.
But even for other roles within the school – such as front desk, administrative, or financial staff – a VOG contributes to a culture of trust and accountability.
Keep an eye on the Dans Veilig website and social media channels in the coming weeks for more information about the campaign.
